Salesforce New Update 13/03/2025

Salesforce has recently introduced several significant updates, reflecting its commitment to integrating advanced technologies and expanding global operations.

Agentforce 2.0 Launch

In January 2025, Salesforce unveiled Agentforce 2.0, an enhanced version of its AI agent program. This update integrates seamlessly with various Salesforce platforms, including Slack, and offers improved reasoning, integration, and customization capabilities. The full release is scheduled for February 2025. Analysts have responded positively, with BofA Securities' Brad Sills and Wedbush's Dan Ives rating Salesforce as a Buy, citing significant growth potential.

$1 Billion Investment in Singapore

On March 12, 2025, Salesforce announced a $1 billion investment in Singapore over the next five years. This initiative aims to bolster the adoption of artificial intelligence agents in the workforce, addressing challenges such as a declining birthrate and an aging population in the region.

Collaboration with Singapore Airlines

Salesforce has partnered with Singapore Airlines to enhance customer service through AI-driven solutions. The airline plans to implement Agentforce, an AI-powered system that automates specific tasks to streamline customer service operations. Additionally, both companies will collaborate at Salesforce’s AI Research hub in Singapore to develop AI-driven solutions for the aviation industry.

Scaling Back Diversity Initiatives

Salesforce has joined other major tech companies in reducing its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. This move aligns with recent executive orders from President Donald Trump aimed at dismantling DEI programs both in the federal government and private sector. In its latest financial disclosure, Salesforce removed references to diversity and inclusion as a core value and eliminated ties between executive compensation and diversity goals. Despite this rollback, Salesforce emphasized its ongoing commitment to equality in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Financial Outlook

Despite these developments, Salesforce's stock experienced a decline due to a lower-than-expected full-year forecast. The company anticipates modest revenue contributions from its AI agents in fiscal 2026, with more significant impacts expected in fiscal 2027. Salesforce forecasted fiscal year sales of $40.5 billion to $40.9 billion, below analyst expectations of $41.37 billion. Additionally, adjusted earnings per share are estimated to be slightly below market projections.

These updates highlight Salesforce's strategic focus on AI integration and global expansion, while also navigating challenges in diversity initiatives and financial forecasts.
